European Championship Division Placement (Ukraine, 2025)

The EuroHockey Championship is organized in a tiered division system run by the European Hockey Federation. The top tier is the Championship (Tier 1), below which sit Championship II (Tier 2) and Championship III (Tier 3); teams are promoted and relegated between divisions based on results. Before 2011 these tiers were named the Nations Championship, Nations Trophy and Nations Challenge, and before 2005 there was a single all-Europe Championship reached through a qualifier — the chart maps all periods onto one tier scale for comparability (a lower tier number is a higher division). Ukraine's women reached the top Championship in 1999–2007 (best 5th in 2003); the men have lived in the second and third tiers, with Championship II silver in 2023.
