Beach Volleyball Federation of Ukraine (UBVF)

The FIVB Beach Volleyball World Championships are pair-based and held biennially. Olympic and World Championship access is driven by cumulative ranking points earned on the year-round world tour, plus regional Continental Cup stages — not by discrete qualifier tournaments. This creates a structural barrier for federations without year-round travel funding: Ukraine was largely absent from the main draw before 2013 and sporadic thereafter. Main-draw presence is attested for men in 2013 and 2023 (Popov/Reznik, 17th both times) and for women in 2017 (Davidova/Baieva) and 2025 (Lazarenko/Romaniuk, 9th — best Ukrainian result at any FIVB beach Worlds).
