Organization Structure

The Rugby Federation of Ukraine (FRU) is an all-Ukrainian public sports association with legal entity status, established in accordance with Ukrainian legislation.

Key governing bodies:

• Conference - Supreme governing body (meets every 2 years)
• Council (Rada) - Standing supreme body between conferences
• President - Chief executive officer (4-year term, max 2 consecutive terms)
• Vice-Presidents - Four positions including First Vice-President
• Executive Committee - Permanent management body
• General Secretary - Administrative leader
• Audit Commission - Financial oversight body

International Affiliations

FRU is a member of:

• WR (World Rugby) - International association of rugby federations
• ER (Rugby Europe) - European Rugby Association
• Recognizes WADA (World Anti-Doping Agency) rules
• Recognizes CAS (Court of Arbitration for Sport) jurisdiction

Membership

Participants: Regional rugby federations (one per oblast, Autonomous Republic of Crimea, and cities of Kyiv and Sevastopol)

Members: Individual members including players, coaches, referees, and specialists aged 18+

Mission and Goals

The main goal of FRU activities is the development and popularization of rugby in Ukraine, aimed at increasing the level and popularity of this sport among all segments of the population, as well as conducting health, amateur sports, cultural, educational, and scientific activities in the field of rugby.
